An unfortunate majority of meetings and presentations are infected with what we call the Triple D or “Didactic Data Dump”. Tragically a “presenter” benignly tells his or her audience everything they know about a topic – whether they need to know it or not.

While effective presenters share information or points of view with the hope of motivating the
audience to learn, truly exceptional presenters and meeting leaders facilitate, invite and engage their listeners as participants in the learning process.

In this workshop participants will learn how to:

	Assess and define their audiences’ expectations and interests
	Generate engagement by conveying value
	Utilize new skills to get the audience talking
	Evaluate their understanding and elevate their retention
	Deal effectively and professionally with difficult people and questions
	Safeguard their newly interactive presentation from careening out of control
